Bear in El Dorado National Forest, California
NOTE: FINE ART AMERICA WATERMARK WILL NOT APPEAR ON PURCHASED IMAGE Perry R. Obray grew up near San Jose California in a then small city called Fremont. Fremont was full of agriculture and the auto industry during the 60s and 70s. Recreation was huge in Fremont too. Perry moved to Lake Tahoe in 1983. Perry loves creating photos and videos of experiences to remember. Perry hopes that sharing media is enjoyable to people. Perry is involved in many roles related to media. Father's photography business was a significant influence. Working in a dark room, and selling the photos during the non-digital era. Most of Perrys digital media has been formatted to display on the internet. Perry's photos appear in archival poster sized prints,...

I'll bet people don't go walking out on that path too late in the evening. Superior capture.

Perry, I agree, you aren’t getting older…but better with your HDR photographic captures…this is amazing!
PROMedias US replied:
It was a very interesting week watching the bears gorge on spawning salmon. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) part of the project was quite an experience.
D CC
serious business this bear, great pic
PROMedias US replied:
After stalking this bear for about a week, standing in it's morning walk pathway was kinda unnerving for this bear on the way to it's salmon breakfast. It scooted around 10-15 feet off it's normal route to get the salmon breakfast.

I would not have liked to have been greeted by this walker!
PROMedias US replied:
LOL, the wild bears are accustomed to tourists/semi domesticated. It is illegal to hunt bears here, hence no natural enemies and are very relaxed most of the time. I try to stay around 50-100 feet away, maybe more if they have kids.
