Actually, the opposite end of the lake. This view is from over 9000 feet elevation on south shore California.

It was quite a project to get this stitched photo (2 sperate images) of Lake Tahoe, Ca./Nv. as it's size is about 10 miles by 30 miles. Even getting the photo miles away from the lake required stitching.
